Who's Coming to Reunions?

Take My Voice and Let Me Sing!

Dear Westminster Alumni and Friends,

We invite you to join us for Westminster Choir College's 2018 Reunion when we lift our voices together in song to celebrate 92 years of musical milestones and excellence!

Since many of us have fond memories of working with one of the greatest musical geniuses of the 20th century, Leonard Bernstein, it seemed fitting to look to him now for inspiration as we celebrate what would have been his 100th year.

It is the artists of the world, the feelers, and the thinkers who will ultimately save us;
who can articulate, educate, defy, insist, sing and shout the big dreams.

                                                                                                                        Leonard Bernstein

We all know it is a time of uncertainty for our college, but we cannot let that dampen our spirits or our voices! we want to see you on campus to reminisce, celebrate an anniversary year, connect with classmates, faculty and students, and hear our extraordinary choirs.

Many alumni have requested that a community gathering be scheduled when we could sing together and pray for the future of our beloved school.  Immediately following the Alumni Awards presentation in Bristol Chapel on Friday, May 11 at 12:45 p.m., all are welcome to join as we circle the Quad for a moment of silent reflection, concluding with the singing of the Lutkin Benediction and an opportunity to honor our founder, Dr. John Finley Williamson.

Here are a few Reunion highlights:

  • Golden Encore Dinner - celebrating milestone classes – 1968, 1963, 1958, 1953, 1948, 1943

  • Chapel Service  - Chapel Choir with Dr. Amanda Quist and homily by Rev'd Erika Takacs '98
