 Alumni Reunion Weekend 2017

— Coming Home, Coming Together in Princeton! —

Dear Alumni, Family, and Friends of Westminster Choir College,

There is no denying the fact that this year has brought unexpected and unsettling challenges for us all.  However this May, we are grateful to be looking forward to reconnecting with each other and being on the Princeton campus again.

Alumni Reunion Weekend 2017 - Coming Home, Coming Together in Princeton! will take place from Thursday afternoon, May 11th through Saturday, May 13th.  Beginning with a Golden Encore High Tea at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday in Williamson Hall with performances by current students, other highlights will include:

  • Performances by Westminster Choir, Westminster Williamson Voices, and the Westminster Concert Bell Choir

  • A performance of Smetana’s opera The Bartered Bride in the Robert L. Annis Playhouse

  • Alumni Chapel Service in Bristol Chapel with Westminster Chapel Choir

  • Class Reunion Luncheons on- or off- campus for classes ending in a 2 or 7

  • All-Alumni Dinner and Awards Ceremony at the Cullen Lobby/Plaza, Hillman Performance Hall and Robert L. Annis PlayhouseCome join the Faculty of Westminster and other alumni.  If you are celebrating a milestone year, consider reserving a table for your class.

  • Alumni Awards will be presented to Glenn Miller ’77, James Chidester ’57, ’58, Diane Triplett Biser ’67 and Larry ’65 Biser.

Westminster’s future is uncertain, and as we acknowledge that fact, we also continue to support our

cherished alma mater in our own ways.  In a recent correspondence, Glenn Miller wrote, “Such valleys

propel us all to underscore and stand up for all that is good, honorable, true and essential for the

well-being of our world, and they come our way so that we never take things for granted; each day is a gift

and involves sacrifice, by God’s grace.”

On behalf of the Alumni Council of Westminster Choir College and the Office of Alumni Relations,

we look forward to seeing you in May.
