Join us in the BLC Cavalla Room to connect with alumni professional leaders, meet industry professionals from Rider's community partners, gain insights and experiences from our guests, and make valuable connections to help springboard your next career steps. The event will include insights from Nicole Woodland-DeVan '98, President of Compas, Inc, and a keynote from alumni Bill Adams '72, '81.

 

Nicole Woodland-DeVan began her career at Compas over 20 years ago as an Account Manager. Nicole has risen through the ranks in roles such as Marketing Manager and Executive Director of Promotional Media where she led the organizations Promotional Products business unit for several years, growing its revenue to over $27m annually. She is Six Sigma Certified and has been recognized as an innovator with the PharmaVOICE 100 Award, and honored as an HBA Rising Star and SmartCEO Brava Award.

 

Bill Adams spent 17 years with Converse (1984-2001) rising from a National Salesman of the Year to Regional Manager in New England to Director of National Accounts to VP of US Sales. He also spent 19 years with new Era Cap (2001-2020) rising from Director US Sales to VP of North America Sales to General Manager for EMEA (Europe/Middle East/Africa) to Sales Executive for Major League Baseball. In additon, Bill was drafted in 1972 by the San Francisco Giants where he played in the minors for three and a half years. He then taught History and coached at Maple Shade High School in South Jersey before entering the business world.

 

This event, held in collaboration with Alumni Relations, the Rider University Alumni Association, and Career Development & Success will help tie together our community by connecting our current student population with our proud alumni network.
