The Cranberry Cavalry is charging ahead to help you grow and flourish as a student and as an alumnus/a of Rider University.  The program will broaden students' understanding of Rider's history and traditions, while offering opportunities to learn, network, get involved and give thanks to the thousands of supporters who make Rider the special place it is.


Included in the Cranberry Cavalry program are free career-focused sessions, informative, educational and social programming featuring alumni and faculty guest speakers.  You'll interact with alumni volunteer presenters as you transition from being a student to becoming an active member of the growing alumni family.

Please join us and sharpen your career search skills as you master the complexities of the successful job search.

Dr. David Dewberry, Assistant Professor, Communications/Journalism Department, will lead the session on how to present yourself quickly and succinctly when you have a captive audience for a short time.

It’s Not What You Know … Networking 101
Princeton Room, Daly’s Dining Hall
Rider University professor and communications specialist Howard Joffe offers his take on the best ways to network, maximize your professional relationships and get a job.


November 13 — 6-7 p.m.  
Careers in Finance
North Hall, Room 202
Rider Assistant Professor Jason Chiu will moderate this panel of Rider alumni whose education in finance led to careers in corporations, non-profits and government.  Panelists and details to come.  Light dinner will be served.  This session is supported by the Finance Society.
